My literary journey began in childhood. The more I read, the more I fell in love with words. I wrote my first poem when I was eight years old, and I haven’t stopped writing since. Because of the power of words, I’ve been exploring different worlds without leaving the comfort of my home.
Unfortunately, my home had its limits. The small country town made my dream of being an author and editor feel out of reach. I explored careers in childhood education, veterinary technology, and dentistry, but I was never fully satisfied. The longing to dive deeper into the written worlds ached at my fingertips.
So, four years ago, I stretched beyond the bounds and obtained a certificate in proofreading. The extra knowledge fueled my desire to learn even more, and I pursued another certificate in editing and publishing.
As my skills developed, my passion for words transformed into a mission of weeding out the flaws and imperfections that may pop up in a manuscript. My experience spans across multiple genres including young adult, new adult, mystery, thriller/suspense, Christian fiction, and romance.
I know it can be difficult to put your work in someone else’s hands, but weeds may grow where flowers bloom. I will delicately pluck the pieces that overshadow the beauty within to help your story thrive.
When I’m not tending to my love of words, I’m raising my family on a small farm in Pennsylvania. My husband and I value our way of life and the sturdy faith-based foundation that supports us. I love swimming, bike riding, and spending time with family. A few of my favorite moments are summer evenings on the porch watching wildlife and cool nights around the campfire.
